 Will of Francis (Gowre) Gower. The following reference to his will is of record in Order Book 1686-1692, page 349, 2 March, 1691: “Whereas a Nuncupative will of ffrancis Gower of this County late decd. was duly proved in thei Court whereby Stanley Gowre his brother is appointed Exxor. ordered by the Court to take into his posession the Estate as also that he take under his care & tuition the children of Said Francis.” (1)
